SIGN RUSTING
Each sign is supplied UNRUSTED as standard (refer picture 3 for photo of un-rusted sign) & will develop a completely unique rusty patina on its own as it weathers in the elements.
If you wish to receive your sign already pre-rusted, please select from the 'Pre-rusted sign' options above. Your sign will be treated with a special chemical solution to give it a lovely weathered look prior to sending.
Note: the colours and patterns on each product will vary due to the nature of the rusty material.
SIGN BACKING
Our brushed aluminium backing option has been selected to perfectly compliment the Corten patina of your sign while creating a distinctive contrast to enhance the details and increase visibility. The brushed aluminium backing is perfect for signs that won't be mounted onto a solid surface (such as a fence) and its reflective nature will ensure your sign stands out at night.
MOUNTING PACK
If you intend to mount your sign against a light-coloured surface we recommend using sign mounting spacers or 'stand-offs' between your sign and the wall surface to minimise the potential of contact discolouration before your sign is completely weathered. This is also an effective way to add a slight shadow behind the sign for added impact. A Mounting Pack includes 4 x spacers and 4 x Stainless Steel screws and can be added to your order using the 'Optional Extras' dropdown box in this listing.
